On October 10, 2019, in accordance with the requirements of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association No. 12 Notification “ The First Batch of Engineering Construction Association Standard Development and Revision Plans ", China Material Industry Planning and Research Institute and Guangdong Pustar Adhesives & Sealants Co., Ltd as the main editors responsible for the establishment of the China Engineering Construction Association standard "Technical Regulations for the Application of Elastic Tile Adhesives" (hereinafter referred to as "the Regulations") attend the first conference held in Foshan city. Nearly 20 members of the related parties attended the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Secretary-General Liqun Wang from the Building Materials Branch of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association. He fully affirmed the significance of the preparation of this standard and the related work carried out by the preparation team in the early stage. He also raise some requirements of the edition job, The Background and the key point of the regulations was explained by the Mr.Lin CTO of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association / China Building Materials Industry Planning and Research Institute, Dr. Bing Zeng from China Academy of Building Sciences, Wenqing Li the Secretary-General from China Ceramic Industry Association Ceramic Tiles Joint Technology Committee.

Secretary-General Liqun Wang announced the official establishment of the preparation team, emphasized that the preparation of standards must follow the principles of be practical and realistic, be scientific, advanced, be reasonable economics, and be safe application.
Technical manager Feng Zhan from Guangdong Pustar introduce the main content of the Regulation, and explain some important details. Wenqing Li introduce the setup and edit process of the regulation. After fully discussion, the regulation have been updated and the first vision was form finally.
There are six chapters and one appendix, including general rules, terms, materials, design, application, acceptance etc. after this conference, every team member need to continue the job according to the route make sure the Regulation will be done on time.
"Technical Regulations for the Application of Elastic Tile Adhesives" is the first domestic technical regulation specifically for the application of elastic tile adhesives. It has a milestone significance for the tile adhesive industry. The clarification on the selection, design, usage and acceptance of flexible tile adhesives will lead the application technology constantly improved and unified. Elastic ceramic tile adhesive industry tends to standardization. The publication of the "Technical Regulations for the Application of Elastic Tile Adhesives" can open a new chapter for the development of the tile adhesive industry.
